Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement trade compliance strategies for transatlantic trade
• Analyze and evaluate trade regulations and agreements, particularly between the EU and the USA
• Assist in monitoring and ensuring compliance with customs regulations, export controls, and sanctions
• Conduct research and prepare reports on current trade compliance developments
• Communicate with clients and authorities on compliance-related issues

Requirements:

• Advanced studies in Law, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field, preferably with a focus on international trade law or trade relations
• Interest in legal and economic issues in the transatlantic trade environment
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to document complex issues accurately
• Independent and structured work style, team spirit, and strong communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
